Section stacking
The fixed section determines where moving sections collect. Lower stacking retains a glass portion near the floor; any balustrade function must be verified by the design.
Seasonal or thermally insulated
Series differ in profile and infill. For heated terraces, thermal breaks, double glazing and junction details are agreed separately.
Automatic movement
The drive moves sections along vertical guides. Controls and safety devices are selected together with the window unit.

How does terrace guillotine glazing differ from a lifting window?
Both use vertical section movement. Terrace glazing is configured for the full opening and section parking arrangement, while a lifting window is considered as a separate window unit. The site provides individual pages for terrace glazing, lifting windows and a thermal-break series.
Can the lower glass section serve as a safety barrier?
With bottom parking, part of the glazing remains along the floor. Its use as a barrier must be confirmed by the project, including the glass, fixings and safety requirements. The presence of a lower section alone does not replace that assessment.
